Tamara uses a multitude of modalities including but not limited to Psychotherapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Rapid Eye Therapy (RET), Hypnotherapy, Equestrian Therapy, IBSR, DBT, Play Therapy, and CDT. Her specialties include clients who present with difficulties related to trauma-related behaviors (such as PTSD), adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, grief, anger, marital discord, bipolar, and stress related illnesses.
She helps individuals, couples, and families pinpoint issues and aids in developing productive strategies and techniques to reduce conflict in their lives. Tamara uses psychotherapy in individual session or with others dependent upon what is most appropriate and beneficial for your specific case.
Tamara has been tremendously successful at counseling clients to reach the lasting changes they wish to make in their lives. Tamara enjoys providing clients, families, and couples counseling. She is especially enthusiastic about her success in couples therapy using EMDR as a therapeutic tool. Clients frequently report, post-EMDR, they are no longer affected by anger, conflict, or sadness, which were for years an overwhelming feature of their lives.
