Community Based Rehabilitative Services (CBRS) is a home and community-based program available to adults and children who receive Idaho Medicaid and who are in need of increased behavioral health support. CBRS promotes recovery through skill building and assists the member to integrate with their community. CBRS teaches skills to help members be independent and improve quality of life.
CBRS promotes resilience as well as learning
age-appropriate skills associated with the
member’s emotional challenges.
CBRS is also a program in which members learn
specific skills that foster rehabilitation and
recovery.
CBRS work one-on-one with a CBRS specialist
both in the member’s home and in the community
to enhance skills needed to reduce the impact
their mental illness has on their life.
CBRS specialists work with a member on
- Communication Skills
- Budgeting Skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Healthy Coping Skills
And many other skills necessary to lead a full life.
